Tuesday November 6
That I have the ability to go to the gym... people take their physical abilities for granted but sometimes I forget how blessed I am that I am able to live, move, drive, and not stuck in a wheelchair with people doing everything for me. I get to go to aqua aerobics and I may not be any good but it is the one place I do enjoy working out.

My grandmothers.... today is one of their birthdays and as they celebrate her in SC I just have to remember how blessed i am, i grew up with two grandmas and two great grandmas... and my granny and grandma are still kickin' and carrying on and teaching us stuff daily.... and Granny, well she is my heart, she means the world to me, I grew up trying to learn all the stuff she taught me and feeling like i only grasped 10% of what the wise woman has in that mind and heart or hers.
Saturday, November 10
The Willows (Adam and Jen) and the Cataffis (Rob and Rhonda) and the Bartons (Leslie and Laura) ... These are 6 irreplaceable people in my life... sharing life with them and ALWAYS coming out laughing and FULL of delicious food.... I wouldn't trade our Saturdays or the bonds we have created for anything .... they have always and I mean ALWAYS have been there when i needed something and I love them to death.
Sunday November 11
Lynn Latham, she shared her life with me the last five years of her life, and today we were able to celebrate her life and remember it... she taught me what loving Jesus and loving others and living missionally was all about and the footprint she left on my heart will never be erased.

The month of Thanksgiving
More thanksgiving........
Friday, November 2
Receiving a paycheck... even though some days I don't always show it, I am truly appreciative I have a job to go to when so many people are still looking for jobs and that I am able to pay my bills.
Saturday, November 3
The Willow Triplets... Today we are celebrating their 2nd birthday (actual birthday is on Monday) but I am so blessed to have them in my life. They are three miracles and bring so much joy to their parents, families, and friends.
Sunday, November 4
So thankful I live in a country I can get up on Sunday and go to church and worship God and tell children about God
Monday, November 5
My home, I love the home I have created... no matter if sometimes it is crazy and cluttered and needs a little TLC... it is very cozy and warm and when I go to bed at night I just curl up peacefully and thankfully that God has given me this lovely home.

The month of Thanksgiving!
It has been so long since I have had time to sit and post... I mean I have gone on a roadtrip to Dena's wedding with Sarah Jean, survived another summer of Resort Ministry, and entered into a fall of birthdays, trips, and wedding planning and events to lead to Sarah Jean's Wedding...not to mention work, church, friends and my other daily activities.... I knew last April that starting with Dena's wedding I just had to get through October 20 (SJ's wedding) and my life would be calm, maybe a little boring again lol... but now I can pick up my hobbies once more, such as blogging ;)
AND what better day to begin then on November 1, the month to remember all the things you are thankful for. You should remind yourself daily but it is nice to go through this month and once a day think about something you are truly thankful for, something different daily, but something different you can thank God for... it helps put things in perspective and I think that may be what I need right now.... and I was doing it once a week anyway so why now do this for November... and it begins on a Thursday (since I took my original idea from Emily's Thankful Thursdays) so it just feels fitting :)
